For 30 years, I played the corporate game—dodging deadlines, juggling demands, and perfecting my “I’ve got it all together” face.
I clung to my job title and prided myself as “the do-er” like it was the Holy Grail.
On the outside I and my life looked perfect, on the inside I felt empty, lost and a stranger to myself.
Then came 2014 —
That's when EVERYTHING changed!
Over a pub chat (thank you, Rachel and wine), I stumbled onto the coaching program that turned my world upside down—or rather, right side up.
I stopped outsourcing my happiness to achievements, other people’s expectations or endless shopping sprees and finally met someone amazing: Myself.
Turns out, I was the missing piece all along.
Who knew?
For the first time, I felt at home in my own skin.
That single shift had a ripple effect, transforming every part of my life.
Over the last 10 years the feeling of being me - enough, content and confident in myself - has become even stronger, allowing me to live a life I used to be jealous of.
Now, as the founder of The Self-Leadership Effect
I share with others, the transformative methodology that changed my life.
I guide professionals who crave freedom, autonomy and balance to break free from the "good corporate soldier" mindset, rediscover their true selves and reclaim their inner brilliance.
Together, we rewrite the stories in their heads, simplify the chaos and create lives that feel as good and full of possibilities.
During the numerous conversations I had with women in the corporate world,
I realized my story wasn’t unique:
So many of us just enduring the corporate life or secretly planning their exit strategy but feel stuck and don't know where to start.
We rarely give ourselves permission or identify us to be more than our job titles or the roles we fit into.
Empowering others and "getting women in the driver's seat" has always been my passion.
Now as a coach & mentor of The Self-Leadership Effect as well as founder of Motoristas UK, a female classic- and sportscar club. https://motoristas.co.uk/ I do just that.
I love seeing women taking ownership of their life and "stepping from passenger seat - into the driver's seat" —something I know a little about as a classic and sports car enthusiast.
Founding Motoristas UK was just another way of championing women to take charge, both on and off the road.
Come and say Hi!
Working with Susanne was so helpful, a true revelation and eye opening. I was worrying and concerned about my job, felt stressed out and wanted nothing more than to pack my bags and run away.
I had no idea what it actually means to have a relationship with myself, and to make myself a priority so that I can enjoy my career and create a drama free life.
I feel like I have woken up from a deep sleep.

The only feeling I can describe after my sessions with Susanne was one of feeling "new", totally relaxed and contented with myself. Something I haven't experienced before. Now I know what has dragged me down for so long and now I can choose not to beat myself up. I have more self esteem, a self-believe and more importantly I feel really good about myself and the work I do. Plus, I now have a vision for my future that looks positive which I didn't have before. And now that I really have a relationship with myself (I didn't know what that was before) I feel empowered and resilient.

Susanne is my go-to-Guru on all things awareness and "letting go" - which to me, has been a total fresh approach to all things "thinking" and very much eye opening.
Her knowledge, gentle soothing voice and empathy make her a fabulous coach and she has helped me many many times. Susanne gets to the core of an issue and offers a supportive approach.
